COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS
Hosting events and workshops with other professional organizations and mentoring other professionals will assist in many ways.
A. Collaborations allow PBPRS members the opportunity to teach individuals from other professions about our craft.
B. Mentoring other professionals or students is strongly encouraged in an effort to generate the next generation of highly skilled African American public relations professionals.
C. Network, network, network! New opportunities can be found in the most unlikely places. The resources and efforts generated from organizations and individuals sharing a common interest or concern is paramount in the success of a professional organization.
Each goal supports the other. Under my leadership and with your support, we will witness them coming to fruition. So take a minute to peruse the site, come to one of our monthly meetings, professional workshop or networking event, then decide if a membership with the Philadelphia Black Public Relations Society is right for you!
